Enhancing Personal Performance

Many clients return to see Craig from all over the United States, including professional athletes and musicians, who believe their performance is enhanced by the multidimensional and dynamic bodywork techniques.

Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle

Individuals who strive to live a healthy lifestyle benefit from massage therapy to promote their well-being. They experience improved circulation, better bodily functions, superior immunity, decrease in stress and cortisol levels and increased range of motion and flexibility.

Alternative to Medical Treatment

Physicians refer patients who have not responded well to traditional medical treatment, would like to reduce/eliminate their pain medications, or prefer to avoid undergoing surgery. Referrals come from neurosurgeons, neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, family practice physicians and dentists.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release is a modality that focuses on the fascial system. The fascial system supports and protects nerves and blood vessels, as well as the muscles, vertebras and bones. It is like a glove that encapsulates the whole muscular system. A fascial restriction can result from a physical trauma or injury, which causes tissues to tighten, creating pain and discomfort. A fascial constriction can influence entire areas of the human body.

Healing from Disease and Injuries

Craig has focused his practice on working with clients who have various health issues including complex spinal injuries, seizures, head injuries, diabetes, carpal tunnel syndrome, post-surgical scarring, post plastic surgery rehab, TMJ, migraines/headaches, arthritis and ongoing inflammation. Patients usually experience relief from pain and symptoms, and/or an improvement in their mobility. Many individuals are restored to their previous level of functioning.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a technique that focuses on releasing restrictions and re-establishing balance within the craniosacral system. This therapy greatly improves the functioning of the central nervous system. Patients who suffer from head injuries, whiplash or migraines benefit from this modality.

Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular Re-education is based on Dr. Janet Travell’s pioneering work, “Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction.” This form of therapy concentrates on the anatomy of the body and consists of stretching, joint mobilization and trigger point therapy. Dr. Travell’s two-book series is often used in medical schools. President John F. Kennedy entrusted Dr. Travell to treat his chronic lower spine pain.
